We visit Fontenot's every year on the last day of Winter Park Jazz Festival. We are never disappointed. The food is wonderful. It has a New Orleans flavor and vibe. One suggestion less okra in the gumbo. The food is priced right. The service is good.
One of the best seafood restaurants I have ever been to. Loved there food and there service. Shrimp poboy was the best. There serving sizes were just enough for the price. Would definitely go back.
Very good food. Waitress staff great. You can tell the chefs care about there menu and quality of food they serve.
Fish was great, the shrimp was solid, but the fries had little salt or seasoning.

One of the best and only places to get Seafood in Winter Park Colorado. Higher class restaurant in the middle of Winter Park next to Carver's Bakery. Would recommend if you're looking for good seafood or a fancier meal. Good service and good food high prices though so make sure your wallet is full when you go. There's a bar here and they do have some decent desserts. There's outdoor seating if you're looking for it and good views and a unique atmosphere.
Great food, a little spendy, got hit with altitude sickness just before we started the entree, so that's a bummer. But what do you do? Thanks for the great service.

Chris was an excellent bartender and server with plenty of information about the area. Very nice and personable. Josh let us try some of his featured new cheesecake. Lovely time. Great drinks, excellent gumbo and poboys. Will definitely return.

In town for the weekend, looking for seafood for lunch. Read many reviews about fish and chips. Setting the record straight!! Best fish and chips I have had in my lifetime! Fried green tomatoes with dill sauce was awesome!! Bread pudding was amazing!! Staff friendly and on task! Never had to ask for refills on water. All together an amazing experience!!!
Extremely large portions, delicious seasonings, easy to share, friendly staff, kids menu options, very good place to refuel after a day on the slopes.
Surprisingly good seafood for a place that is so landlocked! We would definitley go again if we're ever back in the area.

A very unique place to get your cajun seafood fix, but they nailed it! Started off the meal with two choices of complementary bread, followed by fried green tomatoes (a first for me), and wrapped up with the blackened salmon cajun combo. The prices were kind of steep, but completely worth it as every bite was fantastic!

Great cajun food in the mountains. Some of the poor reviews commented on poor service, but we had excellent service and the food came quickly. It tasted great. Great atmosphere. Not cheap, but we knew that going in.
We went just for coffee and dessert. The desserts we excellent and the service was very nice. In the past we have eaten here and the food is very good. It lives up to is billing for serving real New Orleans style cuisine.

Cajun Combo was outstanding.
Delicious! In a group of five, we had five winners! Vodka fontenot was so creamy! Butternut squash dish had perfectly balanced flavors. The chicken toulouse was a delight! We also really liked the Alaskan cod Lafayette (snappy) and shrimp ettouffe.
Excellent food. We stopped in late one night near closing. We had the place to ourselves. The staff was welcoming and kind even though they were about to close. Very upscale place. Excellent location! So elegant inside and it was snowing outside!!

Truthfully I was a little skeptical fresh gulf seafood in Colorado. Wow was I proven wrong. Great food we arrived between lunch and dinner and all four of us ordered completely different meals. Each one was fresh and served promptly with great service. Cajun country in the Rockies

Great place to have delicious American breakfast after having a fun day at Colorado adventure park. A mouth watering plate of shrimp etoufee Benedict just costed $9. Enjoy each bite with an awesome view of the Rockies through the windows.
Everyone was happy with their meals and tasted good. The wait staff did a nice job. The atmosphere is different but fun.

Service was excellent. Food was extremely good. Decor was very nice. The staff and menu choices make this place. They became very busy after six, suggest you arrive early and take advantage of their happy hour. Prices were reasonable, menu was had above variety of choices. I would highly recommend.

We love visiting Fontenot's for lunch and getting a shrimp po'boy and fried green tomatoe po'boy with a basket of fries. The bloody Mary's and gumbo are excellent too! The food is always delcious and we've never been disappointed. Dinner is basically the same menu, but with increased prices, so we usually just come for lunch.

Upscale restaurant. Great food and service. A bit on the pricey side, but the quality of the food is worth it. I had the Clam Chowder and it was perfect.

Great meal! Had the mahi special and it was delicious and affordable. Prob could have done without the scallops for starters but all in all it was perfect! Family of four $120 with tip and well worth it.

Came up for the weekend with my boyfriends family and loved it! The breakfast is great, which is only served on weekends but worth it. I would recommend the waffle with bananas foster topping. A great place for a relaxing mountain vacation.
